Who We Are:

The purpose of the Kansas Association of Directors of Plant Facilities is to promote and maintain personal improvement by providing education programs that increase the knowledge of methods, materials and equipment for the operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds. We raise the standards of building maintenance while cooperating with superintendents of schools, elected or appointed officials and officers and related organizations. KADPF also coordinates regular meetings of the board, and encourages networking and fellowship among its members.

Special thanks to our vendors and sponsors:

Letter from our President:

Hello and welcome to the 2017 KADPF conference and trade show. Please enjoy the most recent edition of the KADPF Facilities Monitor. As the opportunity presents itself, please take time to thank the Board members who have contributed articles for this publication and taken the time to plan this year’s annual conference and trade show. It is my privilege to be this year’s Board President and a member of the KADPF organization. Thank you for your confidence in allowing me to lead this organization.

I have been a part of this organization for the past four years, and the value gained from networking opportunities with colleagues and vendors, professional development opportunities, etc. is simply immeasurable. By attending the KADPF annual conference and trade show each year, I am able to expand my network and grow my knowledge base which allows me to be a better Facility Manager.

I would urge anyone involved in the business of maintaining and caring for educational facilities in the state of Kansas to become part of this great organization. Take advantage of the time that you spend at this year’s event. We should all strive to learn and grow professionally so that we can provide the best possible service to our respective school districts.

The conference and trade show will take place in Topeka again this year (October 15-17). We are confident that we have some very informative breakout sessions and very interesting speakers lined up again. Please review the conference agenda and enjoy the great articles located within this publication. Once again, the Capitol Plaza Hotel will be hosting this year’s conference and trade show. Please plan on joining us on Sunday, October 15th for the sporting clay tournament at Ravenwood Lodge. Shuttle service will be provided from the Capitol Plaza Hotel to Ravenwood and back to the hotel afterwards.
I look forward to seeing everyone in October.
Sincerely,

Rob Seitz
