About KADPF

What a KADPF Membership can do for you:

Times have changed drastically since the inception of KADPF. With the changing times, networking with each other is even more important now than it was in the 1950’s when the organization was established. KADPF is a strong organization that has a lot to offer your team. Regardless of the size of your educational facility, we all face similar issues. KADPF offers us the opportunity to learn from each other’s mistakes and share successful stories.

The History of the KADPF:

The Kansas Association of Directors of Plant Facilities was established in the mid 1950’s. The mission of KADPF is to establish a network of maintenance and custodial personnel across Kansas. We also provide support for one another by sharing our experiences, both good and bad. Facility directors, maintenance supervisors, custodial supervisors, and essentially anyone that provides support for the educational process continue to meet on an annual basis to provide support for one another.
The existence of KADPF would not be possible if it were not for the support of our generous vendors and sponsors. Vendor memberships and sponsorships make it possible for KADPF to hold our annual training conference. Vendors also make it possible for KADPF to offer a $1000 scholarship to four students every year. Since 1994, KADPF has granted scholarships to over 70 students, totaling more than $56,000 for higher education. This fund is founded on the principle that the applicant must have a parent employed as maintenance or custodial staff, serving at an educational facility in the State of Kansas. We pride ourselves in being able to support the well-being of Kansans across multiple generations, while also helping our Kansas schools thrive.
