I graduated from Sylvan-Lucas Unified Junior/Senior High School in Sylvan Grove, Kansas. My father has been the custodian and head of building maintenance for the school district for around nine years. I plan to attend North Central Kansas Technical College and major in Business Management. I will achieve my Associate’s Degree and then I will return home to Sylvan Grove to run the family business. My family loves our community, and in a time when many small towns are fading away, it is my desire to come back to my hometown to help encourage growth. I truly appreciate the KADPF for this scholarship and the opportunity it is providing for me.
